Programma

Processes of growth and cognitive development in educational processes. Age and learning conditions. Educational relationships. The biographical and autobiographical methods in Adult Education and lifelong education

The course is structured as following: basic module and laboratory module.
It includes the following objectives:
1. Acquire and develop at an advanced level the knowledge and skills relating to the theoretical-operational dimension of adult education within the reference framework represented by the scientific-operational paradigm of lifelong learning.
2. Acquire and develop the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out theoretical and empirical research in the field of adult education, with particular reference to qualitative methodologies.
3. Promote the ability to critically study the literature relating to Adult Education and Lifelong Learning.
Knowledge and understanding:
Knowledge and understanding relating to the theoretical, historical, epistemological and methodological dimensions of adult education in the reference framework represented by the scientific-operational paradigm of lifelong learning and the construct of competence in learning to learn.

Ability to apply knowledge and understanding:
Methodological and problem solving skills relating to adult education and models and methods for designing and managing training actions for lifelong learning and continuous training

Judgment autonomy:
Ability to collect, analyze and critically process data relating to models and processes of lifelong learning and adult education.

Communication skills:
Ability to critically and systematically express arguments relating to theories and processes of lifelong learning and adult education.
Communication and relational skills functional to the conception, coordination and management of training and lifelong learning projects.

Learning ability:
Ability to develop critical thinking, reflexivity and self-training in the context of studies and skills related to lifelong learning and adult education.
