Objectives of the activities - which are carried out at external contracted structures - are those of a) helping the student to reflect on the motivations and expectations with respect to the choice of the degree course and the professional future; b) to foster the development of observation and reflection skills on the relational dynamics that are determined in the field both with users and with other operators; c) promote a first contact with the tools and practices of professional work carried out in the field; d) sustain a reflective process on the activities that are tested in the field.

At the end of the activity the student:
- has investigated and verified the reasons for choosing his professional future
- he began to orientate himself in social service techniques
- observed and tested the role and functions of the social worker in the social services system

Programma

1. individual interviews aimed at guiding and accompanying the student in the choice of the structure in which to carry out the internship experience;
2. Lectures and group work aimed at: a) knowledge of the modality and activation of the curricular internship; b) reflection on the motivations and expectations regarding the choice of the course of study and the professional future; (c) the development of the skills of reflection and observation in the context of helping relationships; d) to develop the ability to work in a team; e) to promote a first contact with the practices of Social Work.

Modalità Valutazione

The evaluation in thirtieths is based: a) on the documents produced by the student during the training experience; b) the evaluation report drawn up by the supervisor and c) the oral exam in which the student discusses the internship experience in relation to the theoretical knowledge acquired in the academic study plan, following the theory-practice-theory process. In particular, the following aspects are examined: i) the legislation that regulates the social environment in which the internship has taken place; ii) the knowledge of the tools and methods of Social Work observed during the training experience; iii) the cases followed, with particular attention to the relational and emotional dimensions that characterized the observed help processes.
